Powered Golf Carts

What are Powered Golf Carts?

Golf cart, golf buggy but officially golf car. An electrical vehicle used to manouver yourself throughout golf courses with ease. Originally designed for the simple task of bringing you from point A to point B on your prefered golf course, they have now grown into suprising new fields.

They were the first massively produced electric vehicles available to the public they then started to adapt to a world of excessive oil and started to run on gasoline. Now a days the focus has gone back to creating electrically powered golf carts due to their lack of noise, pollution and lack of high speed which makes is safer for the other golfers on the green.

More and more communities are now embracing powered golf carts for the above stated reasons and a few localities actually prohibit any gas powered vehicles such as some gated and island communities in California and Florida. With more and more emphasis towards living a green life we can only expect to see more and more golf carts in our communities and on our roads.

You can expect the vehicle shown above to travel above 24mp/h (38km/h) while seating yourself and a passenger plus two full golf bags. Even with all this luggage it can still go up a slope of 28 degrees. It's maximum weight capacity is 755 pounds, much more then you'll ever need but it's always good to have a little extra.

It's photovoltaic array consists of 72 cells at 160 watts. It produces 3 amps per hour and allows you to travel up to 49 miles or 10 rounds of golf before having to be fully recharged. To rechargs the powered golf cart you can leave it in the sunlight for 15 hours (in your backyard or a driveway) or you can use the supplied electrical cord and charge you vehicle overnight.

The whole golf car is ruggedly built and it's suspension will make you feel as if your floating on a cloud, this also helps due to it's four 8 inch tires. It's drum breaks and speed limiting feature will keep you or any driver safe on the course.

Some extra features of the powered golf cart are it's headlights, horn, four cup holders, vinyl upholstery, break lights and turn indicators, all making this into a great cart for the Tiger Woods in your family.

It's total cost is 9000$ USD and generally it's shipping costs 200$ but it depends on where you live.
